At Majestic Outdoor Kitchens, we believe every outdoor space has untapped potential. This month’s Project Spotlight highlights an exciting collaboration with All Pro Pools and Landscape and the Weber family in Denison, Texas—a transformation that began with hesitation but evolved into a personalized, high-functioning backyard retreat.
Design Challenges and Initial Concerns
The Webers initially questioned whether an outdoor kitchen would work in their space. Their primary concern? That bar seating might obstruct the narrow walkway to their gate. Functionality was just as important to them as aesthetics.
To help visualize the possibilities, the Webers visited our Majestic Outdoor Studio. This hands-on experience proved pivotal. We brought their layout to life on our interactive design screens, giving them a full view of how the space could flow and function. These renderings show the original layout concept brought up during their visit to the studio. Notice how the bar originally extended into the walkway space—raising valid concerns about flow and accessibility.
Collaboration in Real Time
Once the Webers could see the design in 3D, the conversation shifted. They started imagining how their family and friends might actually use the space. After some design back-and-forth, Michael came up with a creative solution: flip the corner bar to reclaim previously unused dead space. This adjustment preserved the walkway, improved flow, and made the entire kitchen more compact and intuitive.
Smart Use of Space and Premium Equipment
With the new layout finalized, we turned to equipment selection. To keep things efficient and sleek, we installed:
- A bar sink for convenience and cleanup
- A narrow glass-front refrigerator
- A Le Griddle single burner griddle with lid
- A Smokin Brothers built-in pellet grill
- A built in sliding trash drawer & drawers
All appliances were sourced and outfitted by our parent company, NTX BBQ Supply, known for its top-tier outdoor cooking gear and service expertise.
